Who We’re Looking For

FOS is seeking a highly-motivated Social Media Editor to support the day-to-day operations of our social media team, which is responsible for the execution of our social strategy across the FOS family of brands.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, thinks critically, and is able to create content that resonates with our audience. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated, self-directed, and a problem-solver.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute FOS’s social strategies across platforms
  • Work with the larger editorial and social teams on traffic and engagement initiatives
  • Regularly pitch new, innovative social concepts and ideas
  • Identify compelling editorial storylines and capitalize on trending topics by creating content in a timely manner
  • Create images and graphics for FOS’s editorial coverage
  • Assist with major FOS initiatives as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience
  • Ability to write optimized, smart social copy
  • Thorough understanding of FOS’ voice and a passion for using social platforms to reach our audience in innovative ways
  • Ability to identify and apply emerging, on-brand trends to FOS’ social strategy
  • Working knowledge of social analytics tools
  • Some night and weekend availability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Newsroom or journalism background a plus
  • Previous experience working at a media company a plus

Manager, Partnership Marketing

Who We’re Looking For

FOS is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Partnership Marketing to manage the day-to-day operations of partner advertising relationships across our brands, which include Front Office Sports, FOS College, The Association, Sports Section and The Rundown. You will also work on larger branded content projects in a variety of formats when the need arises.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all partner activations from start to finish – including kickoff calls, collection of assets, creation and management of timelines, metric updates and wrap up reports
  • Oversee the production of and provide strategic guidance around various types of branded content, including native newsletter placements, website features, white papers/research reports, webinars, social media graphics and video content
  • Work with design team to develop copy and visuals for client programs including newsletter banners, landing pages, display ads, email blasts, etc.
  • Develop clear, concise and compelling copy that aligns with marketing goals of each partner for newsletters and various partnership initiatives
  • Ideate with sales team as needed to drive revenue 

Requirements

  • 4+ years of project management experience in digital media, media company or ad agency 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and conflict management skills
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and managing creative projects
  • Ability to organize and handle a high volume of programs 
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Day to day client-facing experience
  • Knowledge of sports industry/business a plus

Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing & Programming

FOS is seeking a highly-motivated Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing & Programming to manage the day-to-day operations of advertising relationships across our brands, which include Front Office Sports, FOS College, The Association, Sports Section and The Rundown.

You will also work on the planning and executing of FOS franchises and events throughout the year. 

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage multiple partner activations from start to finish – including kickoff calls, collection of assets, timelines to ensure flawless execution
  • Work with Head of Marketing on planning and execution of FOS franchise events including Rising 25 Awards, Best Employers in Sports and more
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (design, growth, etc.) to deliver on partner programs
  • Oversee the production of and provide strategic guidance around various types of branded content, including native newsletter placements, webinars, social media graphics and video content
  • Develop clear, concise and compelling copy that aligns with the marketing goals of each partner for newsletters and various partnership initiatives
  • Present overall campaign execution ideas to the internal FOS partnerships team and FOS partner stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project/event management, integrated marketing, or media/agency/account management experience 
  • A deep understanding of the digital media and newsletter publisher landscape; knowledge of sports industry/business a plus
  • Experience in creating and executing virtual and live events and partner activations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and conflict management skills
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and managing creative projects
  • Ability to organize and handle a high volume of projects/programs  
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills

We are looking for a seasoned media sales leader to help position the FOS brand to advertisers and agenices with excitement and drive growth at a pivotal time in the company’s lifecycle. FOS is a fast-paced, high-growth organization and the ideal candidate should have experience developing a roster of both B2B and B2C brand partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Represent the Front Office Sports brand in the advertising marketplace
  • Responsible for driving revenue by selling integrated packages to advertisers
  • Prospect, cultivate, develop and maintain relationships with high-level advertising decision-makers at brands and agencies
  • Optimize the FOS sales and client success strategy from post-sales kick off through execution and campaign recaps
  • Develop an organized process for inventory management and forecasting
  • Maintain accurate and timely business estimates, forecasts, and administrative paperwork for leadership
  • Build custom partnership proposals and presentations for potential brand clients
  • Oversee the process for and coach the wider FOS partnerships team as they build custom partnership proposals

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of digital media sales experience and a proven track record of meeting or over exceeding sales goals
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about digital media, brand marketing, and strategic partnerships
  • Strong personal relationships with key brand and agency stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of media sales packaging and selling digital sponsorships
  • Previous success driving RFPs and winning new business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience selling native newsletter advertising products is a plus
